Welcome to HSLDA’s Curriculum Market!
This site is for the sale of curricula and materials specifically related to homeschooling. HSLDA created this site in response to our members’ concerns about the policy of other auction sites that do not allow the sale of teacher or instructor materials (e.g., anything with an answer key). We want to provide a one-stop shop where anyone can sell, and HSLDA Members can buy, new or used curricula.
Who May Purchase Items?
Only HSLDA Members can make purchases and bid on auctions. Since HSLDA screens all membership applications, we are assured that every HSLDA member qualifies as a teacher. Limiting purchasing rights to HSLDA members protects the integrity of teacher materials. While other sites may not follow this guideline, our policy is to balance the need for curriculum packages, including teacher materials, with the goal of maximizing the usefulness of those materials by distributing teacher materials only to teachers.
Not All Curriculum Includes Teacher Materials
We are very much aware of that. However, we cannot screen every listing to make sure no teacher materials are included. The best approach we can take at this time is to limit purchasing to HSLDA Members.
So I Have To Join HSLDA Just to Buy Here?
Yes. By joining HSLDA you support the cause of homeschooling, provide legal representation for you, and membership pays for itself! The discounts and benefits available to HSLDA members can more than cover the cost of your membership — and that’s before you count the savings of buying used curricula here. Who May Sell Items?
Anyone! We have over 80,000 HSLDA members who can buy curricula here. They are active and committed homeschool families. If you are a private person, a homeschool group, state homeschool organization, or a curriculum publisher, this is a great place to reach those buyers. Our goal is not to compete as a vendor of used curriculum; rather, we want to provide a central place where our members can get complete curriculum packages. We also want to support the many national, state, and local homeschool groups who do not have the resources to set up a site like this, or the audience to make it really effective for all participants.
